Creation of Talent Network

Did you know that Talent Network was inspired by the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown.

Having built a successful career within traditional mainstream recruitment models, our Director Sophie Te Huia made a risky but conscious decision to use her skills and expertise to make change within the industry. Starting from her kitchen table with Loki by her side, she founded an innovative business model within the #Recruitment and #Staffing industry in a business-critical time foreseeing supply/demand issues increasing with border restrictions and changes in candidate behaviours. She was aware of the risks associated with launching a business at such a complex time but was driven by changing the recruitment landscape for the better.

"Talent Network" was an intentional name for our business, our Director recognised a need especially post-covid for our business to develop and maintain a talent database to be ahead of our clients reactive recruitment/supply and demand. Our goal was to be genuine and innovative in skill short industries to support our clients and candidates in sometimes difficult markets.

We’ve come full circle and are back working at the kitchen table but this time with Talent Network, a thriving business that has learnt and grown from the challenges that lockdowns can throw at us. It is proof that recruitment doesn’t disappear and is essential during these times, we’re seeing proof of this in the trust from our clients and the interest from candidates.
