Talent Network to proud to support a progressive Tier 2 Customer Delivery Contractor, with a 12 year contract in place with the Powerco network and a strong portfolio of work continue to build their delivery team with an additional line mechanic based in their New Plymouth depot.

About the role:
You will play a key role in the construction and maintaining of distribution power systems and underground cables.The workflow includes a large variety of customer initiated work including LV and HV overhead construction, cable jointing and termination work and new network asset installation. Working on a variety of ring main units, subdivision works and transformers. Working as part of a small tight knit delivery team you will enjoy the ability to contribute and grow your skills. As there is no faults roster, the role offers a great work/life balance Monday with core work hours being Monday to Friday 8am-4.30PM.  There is an opportunity for weekend work at O/T rates for those motivated by this.

In order to be successful for the role we envision you will have:

*A minimum of 2 years experience as a Distribution Line Mechanic
*A Current EWRB registration and practising license (or willingness/ability to re-new licensing)
*A full, clean NZ drivers license
*A great work ethic, collaborative team focus and a commitment to safe work practices
*Full commitment to living and working in New Plymouth (relocation support is available for the right person)
