Electrical Project Engineer

Talent Network is recruiting on behalf of a well-established industry partner for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their Christchurch team.  This role will suit someone with strong industrial electrical knowledge who enjoys managing projects from scope through to delivery.

About the role  

You will:  * Manage electrical projects from concept to completion * Coordinate design, procurement, installation and commissioning * Manage budgets, timelines, suppliers and contractors * Prepare scopes, estimates and project documentation * Support technical problem solving and design decisions * Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships * Ensure projects meet safety, quality and compliance requirements  

About you  You will ideally have:  

* An Electrical Engineering qualification or electrical registration * Experience delivering industrial electrical projects * Strong knowledge of electrical and control systems * Experience with schematics, P&IDs, motor control, drives and power distribution * Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills * Excellent communication and commercial awareness  Experience in Hazardous Areas, Machine Safety, Functional Safety or industrial automation would be advantageous.
