Based in Timaru, Industrial Controls South Canterbury Ltd. provides Industrial Electrical & Automation services to a diverse range of process and manufacturing industries predominantly throughout Canterbury and Otago, or nationally as required. With more than 25 years in the industry we continue to build on our excellent reputation as a leading electrical and control system company that delivers on quality, service and innovation.


Building on that reputation, you will lead the electrical installation team, responsible for the delivery of key project works.   Collaborating with our engineers and broader teams, you will facilitate the seamless integration between engineering and installation, ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. This will extend to our workshops, stores and key operational assets, in ensuring our teams have the right resources to enable successful outcomes.


As our Electrical Projects Manager you will bring solid technical knowledge, skills and experience within the delivery of electrical installations and projects. We envision you to have a wealth of experience within the electrical industry and enjoy a role that is focussed on oversight and co-ordination of work delivery.  Working as a key interface internally within our multi disciplinary teams and externally with our clients, your contributions will not only set our projects up for success, but enable the continuation of service delivery beyond project completion.


With our projects team members ranging from apprentices to experienced senior electricians and instrument technicians, the role encompasses a wide variety of electrical installation workflow from concept to completion. You will take pride in working with a hands on leadership approach, guiding and mentoring your team and contributing solid knowledge that results in growth and development of the wider team.


Key result areas will be to:

Lead the Electrical Projects team with a focus on staff development and delivery.

Guide and co-ordinate work delivery and projects

Build on client relationships through active engagement and a focus on customer satisfaction

Deliver on ICSC strategy, goals and objectives

Champion Health and Safety and best practise
