Talent Network are proud to partner with Industrial Controls South Canterbury in their search for a Senior Automation Engineer to join their head office based in Timaru, South Canterbury.
Based in Timaru, Industrial Controls South Canterbury Ltd. provides Industrial Automation & Electrical services to a diverse range of process and manufacturing industries predominantly throughout Canterbury and Otago, or nationally as required.
With more than 25 years in the industry we continue to build on our excellent reputation as a leading electrical and control system company that delivers on quality, service and innovation. Our team of 100 encompassing automation engineers, network engineers, electrical engineers, electricians and apprentices are key to our success.
As a Senior Automation Engineer within the team you will work on a wide variety of industrial automation projects with an end-end focus from concept to commisioning and enjoy a client focussed work portfolio that offers a great technical variety and will fully utilise your skills and experience.
In order to be successful for the role you will possess the following skills and experience:
5+ Years experience working in the Industrial Automation sector
A relevant trade qualification/Diploma/Bachelors Degree within the electrical engineering/Industrial Automation field
A high level of demonstrated skills and experience as an Automation/Control Systems Engineer with working knowledge and expertise within key platforms including Schnider, Allen Bradley, Rockwell and Siemens. Additional certifications and experience within Ignition Scada and AVEVA systems are of high interest to us.
Experience working in industrial automation projects with an end-end focus
An ability to contribute to a results driven team, collaboratively and individually
