About the role:

As a Senior Project Manager within Industrial Controls South Canterbury Ltd, you will be responsible for management of end-end delivery of a variety of industrial electrical engineering projects within the organisation.A rewarding and multi-faceted position, this role provides responsibility of overseeing key work-streams and project delivery (from concept to completion) across a range of projects, including brown and Greenfield environments across all primary industry including process, dairy, water/wastewater and manufacturing. Working in a key support capacity to the current Electrical Engineering Manager, you will work collaboratively with the engineering projects team and Operations leadership, to ensure timely and quality delivery of set projects and work streams.

Taking ownership of delivery you will oversee all key aspects of the project lifecycle including project design and delivery, work planning, supervision of installation and engineering functions, managing costing, estimation and project budgets and facilitating electrical design and variations.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to key business process improvement initiatives utilising your knowledge of industry standards and best practise.

About you:

We envision you to contribute proven high level project management expertise and experience specific to the industrial electrical engineering sector (5+ years experience).

Holding a relevant tertiary/trades qualification (e.g B.E /equivalent/ electrical engineering registration)/PMP certification. You will have a high level of commercial acumen and thrive in a fast paced project focussed environment.

A high level communicator who has the ability to work collaboratively, think ahead and support delivery across multiple projects while continuing to add value.
